Construction of new facility is underway
DENVER, N.C. – Van-K Wheels, Inc. – a leading producer of aluminum wheels for the quarter-midget and kart racing industries – is pleased to announce their company will be moving from its current location in Denver, N.C., about 20 miles northeast to Troutman, N.C.
Construction of a new building has just begun with completion expected this winter. The location is in close proximity to Interstate 77’s Exit 42 in Troutman, just a few miles north of Mooresville, known as “Race City USA” where many top-level motorsports companies are located.
In recent years Van-K’s business has grown substantially and due to the growing popularity of their product lines – including the P-Zero for speedway dirt-oval karting – a larger, more efficient facility has been needed to satisfy the continued increase in demand.
Van-K president Brian Bass commented on the upcoming move.
“This new building will allow us the room needed to improve our processes and increase productivity. We have already acquired new equipment and we’re very excited and look forward to getting the machines up and operational for karting and quarter-midget dealers,” Bass said.
